This year a lonely Sunday Morning tweet on @SundayFringe X brought these fine Artists into our focus.
What began as chance became a gathering
They graced our Sunday Fringe feed with story telling, theatre craft and smiles. We were glad social media attracted them to our collective.
In their hands, performance is not just entertainment but a kind of invitation — to tilt the world, to notice its edges, to play.

In return we want to share how they use theatre to draw people towards their own stories that are rich, rewarding and full of delight.
So pick a square on your lucky bingo ticket and discover the show that has arrived for you.
Good luck!
And feel free to try again… unless you’ve already found your prize.
Gigglemug Theatre — A Jaffa Cake Musical
This hilarious courtroom musical is based on the real 1991 tribunal that determined whether Jaffa Cakes are legally cakes or biscuits. The show features 33 songs in a 70-minute runtime and has been described as “traditional, safe, family-friendly fringe theatre”. It’s running at The Pleasance Courtyard and has been praised as a “sell-out smash-hit comedy that really takes the biscuit (or cake?)”.
Gerry Carroll — A Gerry Christmas Carroll
An Irish performer blending stand-up, theatre, and clowning; at 70, he claims to be “the oldest solo clown creator at the Fringe.” Previous work has been called “strangely sweet and raw” and “properly, honestly personal”. Supported by an Arts Council grant, this mash-up of clown, stand-up and office work is uniquely personal.
The Strongest Girl in the World
An autobiographical one-woman show by Truly Siskind-Weiss exploring grief across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Winner of the Entertainment Now WOW Award (2023) and OffFest-nominated. Audiences often share their own experiences of loss — tearfully or joyfully — as the show turns isolation into a communal space.
CADEL: Lungs on Legs — CADEL the play
Connor Delves recreates the true story of Cadel Evans, the first Australian to win the Tour de France. Performed entirely on a bike for one hour non-stop, charting the 2011 victory with triumphs, heartaches and sacrifice. Co-written with Steve McMahon; staged at Underbelly Cowgate.
Mussolini at C Alto — by Tom Corradini
An award-winning solo satire offering “a journey into the mind of Benito Mussolini.” Performed internationally and available in multiple languages, it blends physical comedy with darker historical reflection — using humour to bring audiences closer to complex themes.
Batty! — Victoria Firth
A frank, funny and tender look at women’s mid-life. Batty wonders if she might be a witch — dreaming of running barefoot, wild swimming and talking trees. Frequently described as a positive representation of ageing, sincere and often very funny.
Enough
A bold drama following new police recruit Irie as she faces systemic injustice in the Met, drawing from the response to the 2021 Sarah Everard vigil. A gripping piece about power, accountability and the cost of speaking out. Winner: Best Drama, Greater Manchester Fringe. At theSpace.
Locusts — Orange Works
Drama with northern humour where love, family and faith are tested. Stephen’s past resurfaces when Pete, a former church leader, asks for help repeating damaging “conversion” practices. At theSpace Triplex (1–9 Aug, 16:05). Described as “an outstanding piece of theatre”.
Mason King — The Mind Spy (“MK Mind Reader”)
Psychological magic and mentalism in an intimate room: thought-transmission, remote viewing, precognition — with audience participation. Often called “mind-blowing” and a Fringe highlight. Running 2–16 Aug (excl. 9, 10, 15) at 17:05, theSpaceUK at Surgeons’ Hall.
FULL HOUSE!
Bravo. You win.
Bake Off: The Great British Pantomime
A family-friendly musical pantomime parodying Bake Off — puns, chaos and a big, heartwarming finale (“The Winner Bakes It All”). Performed at Greenside on George Street; around 45 minutes of high-energy fun.
Ana Falcon — #1 Mexican in Estonia
A high-energy solo stand-up hour exploring identity, cultural connection and perfectionism with sharp storytelling and humour. Estonia-based comedian; part of the Pussy Jam Comedy collective.
Bare Productions — Rock of Ages
Five-star, sell-out alumni return with the feel-good rock musical packed with 80s anthems, big vocals and bigger hair. Love, dreams and saving a Sunset Strip club — a joyous, high-octane celebration of music.
A Banner in the Haar — online digital play; 15 mins
An immersive audio miniature as summer swirls around Edinburgh and a banner flutters in the haar. Audio theatre meets Scottish skies in a story of flags, independence and walking together.
The Fahrenheit Alliance V — Hirai-Kikaku & Media Kobo (Japan) at C venues
An intimate, one-to-one multimedia experience inspired by Fahrenheit 451. You lie on a bed as landscapes and voices surround you; words survive through spoken transmission. A digital iteration (The Fahrenheit Alliance III) is also available on-demand.
Join us every Sunday morning on Sunday Fringe to share your own work, discover new artists, and carry their voices further. The conversation begins at 10am on X, but its echoes travel much further. Bring your project, your curiosity, or simply your attention — all are welcome.
